Principal's message:

Mrs Cindy Kershaw

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back!

I always enjoy the beginning of the school year, and this year is no exception. Enjoying the summer sunshine is extra-special with family and friends, and I know the students enjoy this time as well. With high hopes and new goals, the Esperanza High School staff looks forward to the 2017-2018 school year and renewing our efforts to help our students succeed.  We are especially optimistic this year because of the positive changes underway with our curriculum and strong focus on College and Career Readiness.

In keeping with the goal of Gridley Unified School District, it is the purpose of Esperanza High School to provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes a positive learning experience for academic success, effective citizenship, and constructive student conduct. We are all committed to upgrading our collective aspirations for what we want our students to learn, grow and become….an absolute privilege to see each day!

Our programs are designed to meet the individual academic needs of our students, and all of our staff members seek to develop meaningful relationships with students as they advance toward graduation. We are deeply committed to making our school as safe, productive, enjoyable and healthy as possible.

We welcome parents to stop by……we are always available to keep you up-to-date on your child’s progress in our program.

Sincerely,

Cindy Kershaw

Principal
